Kaplan & Liss, LLP has an opening for a staff tax and accounting
professional to provide tax compliance, accounting and auditing services for a large
range of privately held businesses, high income/net worth individuals,
not-for-profits, trusts and estates.
This is a
generalist position. Accordingly, the
position requires the following in depth knowledge:
· individual income tax
return preparation
· partnership income tax
return preparation
· subchapter S income tax
return preparation
· trust and estate income
tax return preparation experience a plus, but not required
· C corporation tax
return preparation
· payroll tax return
preparation
· sales tax return
preparation
· information return preparation,
form 1099 and others
· client accounting using
QuickBooks and write-up software
· generally accepted
accounting principles
· generally accepted
auditing procedures
This is a
