Julie Dougherty joined Brown, Kaplan & Liss LLP in September 2007 having two previous years’ practice in public accounting.  She has a broad background including accounting, auditing and income taxation for small businesses, partnerships, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals.  She is happy to a part of an experienced and diversified staff. 

Julie is a graduate of Stetson University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and also holds a Master of Accounting from St. Louis University.  She is a member of the Illinois Society of CPA’s and a registered CPA.

Outside of work Julie is on the Lawrence Hall Junior Board volunteering with Illinois’ most disadvantaged youth.  She also enjoys biking and playing volleyball and tennis.
